On Saturday, October10, 2026 Cottleville Firefighters Outreach in partnership with Cottleville Fire Protection District will be holding a Kids Fire Academy. The Cottleville Kids Fire Academy is a hands-on experience that gives kids a fun, behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be a firefighter. Participants will learn fire safety, practice search and rescue drills, use a fire extinguisher, learn basic first aid, explore fire apparatus, and take part in other firefighter-style activities.

The cost of the camp is $100. Payment is non refundable due to the personalization of fire gear

Firefighter helmet

Firefighter cadet duty shirt

Lunch, drinks, and snacks

We recommend that participants be between the ages of 6 to 11 years of age. The camp will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. and last until 3:00 p.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Pick up to begin at 2:45-3:00. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

Upon registration, a fillable form will be emailed to you to collect demographic and sizing information for you child.
